Roots of Hope is more than a shave soap. It’s a reflection of our family’s journey and the place that changed our lives forever.
Three of our children were adopted from Ukraine—a country that will always be part of who we are.
We adopted Hannah in 2007, and in 2011 we returned to adopt our boys, Max and Elijah.
We spent 42 unforgettable days in the seaside city of Odessa, walking the same streets morning and night to visit Hannah.
We stood in Kiev and said yes—to meeting her, to adoption, to becoming a family.
And we spent over 40 days in Kharkov visiting our boys—watching hope slowly turn into home.
Along the way, we experienced the heart of Ukraine—
street vendors selling potatoes, shrimp, fruit, and fresh bread…
endless sunflower fields stretching beyond the horizon…
small villages, simple and strong…
And above all—
the generosity, strength, and pride of the Ukrainian people.
This soap carries that story forward.
Not as a limited release—but as something lasting.
Because some roots grow across oceans…
and hope is what brings them home.
