Years ago, when Cara and I began the journey of adoption, we had no idea where it would lead us. We didn’t know the challenges we would face, the tears we would shed, the victories we would celebrate, or how deeply our hearts would be changed along the way.

Today, we are blessed to be raising six amazing children, five of whom have special needs. That journey has been filled with moments of incredible joy—but also moments that tested us in ways we never imagined.

Hospital visits.

Therapy appointments.

Sleepless nights.

Seizures.

Wheelchairs.

Communication barriers.

Physical exhaustion.

The reality of changing diapers for nearly two decades and knowing that for some of our children, that season may never truly end.

There are days when the plans we carefully made must be set aside because a child needs us more. Days when progress feels slow. Days when frustration, fear, and uncertainty try to steal our joy.

And through every one of those moments, Cara has gently reminded me of something that has become the heartbeat of our family:

Love does hard things.

Not because it’s easy.

Not because it’s convenient.

Not because we’re strong enough on our own.

But because love chooses to show up anyway.

Love gets up one more time.

Love sits through one more appointment.

Love learns a new therapy.

Love changes one more diaper.

Love carries when someone can’t walk.

Love stays when things get difficult.

Love sacrifices.

This release is a continuation of the beloved scent many of you knew as Family First. While our collaboration with Shave Dad was a one-time release, the meaning behind that scent was too important to leave behind.

So we’ve brought it home.

Now crafted in our Grand Champion 2.0 Base, paired with our matching aftershave splash, and presented under a name that captures the spirit of our family’s journey.
